We at Billabong High International School believe and emphasize in character building as much as academic excellence. The true meaning of education is not merely a question of knowledge, but knowledge in action. As we step into our fourth year, we promise to mould the young minds of today to make them great teachers of tomorrow who would shape the destiny of this world through precept and example.

When one receives education that is based on truth and eternal values, he will be able to achieve liberation. Right education leads to refinement of conduct. Good intellect leads to happiness and peace and redeems one’s life.

The ignorant and the blind declare that a man who cannot earn a living otherwise, becomes a teacher. On the contrary, the teacher is really the one who teaches others how to live. They are good men and women who teach children how to act righteously in the future ahead of them and promote the spirit of equality and affection. They are beacon lights in idealism. It is only when the light of the teacher shines effulgently that the light among students can shine. As Parents, we should not allow indulgence in children from early stages. We should teach them to respect teachers. We should remember that our responsibility does not cease once we send our ward to School. We should take care to ensure that not only they study properly, but develop good behaviour, respect for parents and teachers, speaking the truth and avoiding unrighteous actions.

As partners with a common goal of bringing up our children with complete human values, dignity, discipline, determination and courage, let us join hands together and realize that….

Each day is a mountain that must be climbed
With courage and determination, each step gets easier
We shall move ahead with strength, wisdom and love
